Microdrum or also called IATA Can can be used with capacities of 1, 5, 11, 20, 25, and 210 liters approved for International Aviation Transport (IATA), manufactured to UN 1A1 standards (tested for Packaging Groups I, II, + III) and used mainly in the Oil, Spiritus, Essence, Food and Paint Industry sectors, especially for customers who require shipping hazardous liquids by Air.

Air transportation can offer various benefits when exporting goods but when liquids such as hazardous chemicals are involved, it poses a number of problems. Traditional packaging may not be strong enough, secure enough or have the appropriate certification making it unsuitable for the stresses of flight, rapid changes in air pressure and aircraft storage conditions.
